Does an EMP only affect electronics that are on? or also ones that are turned off and not in a faraday cage?

@boaznerd Nope EMP charges anything that will conduct the electricity from the EMP. I.E. I have a metal plate in my Knee. I am a little worried how much voltage that will see from an EMP.

@B єℓℓα verità Wrap it in plastic (Like a ziplock or trash bag) before you wrap it in tin foil so the electricity from the tin foil doesn't get to your phone. It wouldn't be worth doing to a phone you actually use all the time. That is why I suggest putting only stuff you don't use right now in a faraday cage.
Plus I have a broken foot. So lucky me. Ugh
