My African Grey was super smart. I had to double lock his cage door because he figured out how to open it.

I kept their wings clipped for their safety but let me tell you...they could get where ever they wanted.

He even figured out how to open the dog treats. He would call them and drop treats on the floor for them.

@Notsoperfect Nope complete babies. The key is they were taken from the nest early. Total trust from babies.

My parakeets were babies when I got them.. but I am still building trust with them at 2 years

My finches would stop laying eggs LOL I took out anything that they could make a nest with.. they even made a nest out of their basket ball goal toy LOL Finally they have stopped for now...

Parakeets.. not initially I had them one at a time in a smaller cage.. but now they are all in a large cage

back.

If the Keets are in the same cage they have bonded to each other and it will be hard for them to build trust with you.
