That sounds a situation that you had no choice but to get out of... I hope you are happy and safe now. @BlondeBeauty

@Notsoperfect Sadly I have realized that kids miss nothing, and if you think you are keeping stuff from them...you are not.

2019-08-15 02:09:18 UTC

@Notsoperfect Thank you. I appreciate it but we are doing good and so much happier.

@BlondeBeauty Have you ever seen the vid of a crow that makes a tool to get the food ? LOL They provide him with a straight paper clip. He can't get the food, so he bends a HOOK on the end of it and GETS IT ! LOLOLOLOL

2019-08-15 02:10:03 UTC

Yeah.. that is true. In fact.. I had a stethoscope as a kid.. because I wanted to be a doctor..and I used to use that as my spy tool whenever I heard my parents talking in their room LOL Don't ever tell them LOL

2019-08-15 02:10:10 UTC

super spy

2019-08-15 02:13:46 UTC

@KLATU that was amazing

2019-08-15 02:15:06 UTC

My African Grey was super smart. I had to double lock his cage door because he figured out how to open it.

2019-08-15 02:16:05 UTC

Oh wow.

2019-08-15 02:16:15 UTC

I kept their wings clipped for their safety but let me tell you...they could get where ever they wanted.

2019-08-15 02:16:38 UTC

Were they good with you? Didn't turn on you ? @BlondeBeauty

2019-08-15 02:16:47 UTC

Not that they were training you LOL

2019-08-15 02:16:55 UTC

He even figured out how to open the dog treats. He would call them and drop treats on the floor for them.

2019-08-15 02:17:06 UTC

lol oh my word that is so funny

2019-08-15 02:17:53 UTC

@Notsoperfect Nope complete babies. The key is they were taken from the nest early. Total trust from babies.

2019-08-15 02:18:13 UTC

awww I would imagine that does make a difference

2019-08-15 02:18:45 UTC

My parakeets were babies when I got them.. but I am still building trust with them at 2 years

2019-08-15 02:19:14 UTC

@Notsoperfect Do you have them in the same cage?

2019-08-15 02:19:43 UTC

My finches would stop laying eggs LOL I took out anything that they could make a nest with.. they even made a nest out of their basket ball goal toy LOL Finally they have stopped for now...

2019-08-15 02:20:03 UTC

Parakeets.. not initially I had them one at a time in a smaller cage.. but now they are all in a large cage

2019-08-15 02:20:35 UTC

back.

2019-08-15 02:20:43 UTC

If the Keets are in the same cage they have bonded to each other and it will be hard for them to build trust with you.

2019-08-15 02:20:48 UTC

I am glad you are back @Groot lol

2019-08-15 02:21:03 UTC

That is what I was worried about grrrrr @BlondeBeauty I have noticed it is harder.
