I came out of my house once and came face to face with a young bear about 5'...we both were startled and I backed into the house grabbed a gun and the bear wandered off to the Lagoon

Hunting in the dark on a deer trail and I hear a very pissed off bear below me in the creek basin

I could not see it or know exactly where it was

Kids the night before drinking at the lake shit this bear and just plain pissed it off

That bear chewed up small alder trees in anger for his being shot. Daylight came and I saw my brother in law heading into to basin

So much hooked up with him and we found the bear and put it down
