Yes slow starts are not my typical day but I certainly do enjoy them when they come along

Kids are off to tahoe for the weekend (cousins day they call it), about a dozen or so.

Wife and I have date weeeeeekeeeend.

Made 7 dozen cookies and only brought one dozen home. Those are going to church this evening and I will make the Pastor eat them

It's part of the Pastor roll visiting families in the parish...to eat.

I have a nephew that is a priest.....just tranferred to the vatican....(he's there tech guy) ...he's huge!

Not doubt there exists and entire secret culture happening behind the scenes in that church and if the general public was made aware of the goings on behind closed doors there might be calls for legal action. Any organization that has grown that large has bad actors it is inevitable

The Catholic Church is still the largest and most powerful organization on the planet to this day
