But they're tough
Really I haven't had good green beans for a while
I should have known better
I REALLY wanted fresh green beans
Would have done better with frozen, I guess
Me too
The asparagus was okay
I cook mine for ever they are so good that way
Before I was vegetarian, I used to cook them with bacon
Fry the bacon first,
Have you tried baked asparagus
add the beans and fry some more
Then pressure cook the beans
That's how Grandma made them
No, can't say I've ever had baked asparagus
How do you prepare it @lena-Ingram
It's good sprinkle some cheese on it
bbq asparagus๐
Bake for 15 minutes then sprinkle cheese over it but not a lot
It tastes good to
I'm going to have to run soon
Dinner's almost ready
and this computer has updates
Ok enjoy
Besides, all this talk about food is making me hungry

It almost seems like PSB-text-Only is becoming the "Food Channel"
Lol I know right
Food and beer
I was watching some interesting videos about - I think? - Gen X? that is, I don't think they're "millennials" - they seem in their 20's
Oh what was it saying
Good evening everyone ๐
Well, some are going the "nomad" route and hitting the road in RVs or "Motor Homes" - remodeled school buses and such. However, if they get married (or not) but start having kids, the road in an RV / motor-home won't work. So, they've been reclaiming abandoned farm houses and "homesteading" - learning skills watching YT and joining a sort of community
This is due to the price of renting, the cost of mortgages in suburbs or cities, so they either live on the road or now these abandoned places they probably buy for the taxes or the family cheaply
Wow I would say you're right but it's sad that they can't afford suburbs or cities
Well, some that I watched tried it, but the lifestyle one was referring as "5 to 9" job withboth working, the childcare, mortgage, etc was numbing. Finding an abandoned farm on 5 or 10 acres out where most no longer want to live, they pick them up cheap, then no high cost-of-living and no large bills, they can still work "remotely" but grow their own food and restor a good sized old solid house, even raise their own animals
I would have to tell them welcome to adult life
I agree. They are definitely not living in their parent's basements or joining Antifa or wasting their lives
