Camp Meeting. They are all over the southwest, so they have them in Arizona as well. You gotta go to one of those. Wish I could tell you where or how, but I remember one in AZ in near hwy 260, cant tell you exactly where. There may be others. Old time preaching and singing and Bible studies, three meals a day and everybody camps out. Some people just follow the camp meetings all summer long!

Well, its old time fun. Ours is every July for about a week, late mid-July and I havent been for a while, but I will again.

No, not really so much a revival, but the same ambience as a revival, I would have to say. Very rejuvenating, spiritually.

I like to go the previous week to help get things ready because I want to meet the people that make it all happen. To me its...hard to describe.

Well you probably have had enough different experiences that I do think you know.

I cant imagine so much travel as a child and growing up with Godly parents, giving your life to Christ at 5 years old. I did have a childhood friend who did the same, very young when he accepted Christ.

Yes. I believe so. 😃 Nothing like being with like minded believers in that type of atmosphere.

I am grateful for the way I was raised.

My parents did such a great job of raising us.. to love the Lord. We have had hard times.. but God was always the center of everything we did. We prayed as a family. We studied the bible as a family. I miss those days. ahhhh.. .I feel sentimental.

No reason why we should not all have been raised in the same manner . I had some of my grandfather's Bibles. The laity provided the teachings long ago. Incredible stuff.

I lost a house in Cali, so before I left, I made sure members of the family would take good care of them. I just need the Bible and I did the caretaking as long as I dared.

Meaning I just need any old Bible to do what I need to do. Those were special though.

You lost your home. I am sorry. That must of been difficult.
