I ended up on THAAD after it was moved.

I liked the program and the employees that came over with it.
We sent them to Redstone where LM finished the integration.
After the 90's DoD industry consolidations Raytheon was on a buying spree
Raytheon is the big cat in defense armaments.
I working in Cruise Missile
That’s for sure.

I know many who have hopped over to Raytheon.
All known quantities. Good companies.
Amazing talent.
never shortage of engineers around.
I kinda miss it, but it will never be like what I hired into again.
Scientist from UCB and Stanford didn't hurt that industry did it.
I gotta relish the great memories and experiences.
I would spend about 2wks/mo on DC, saw the same people different companies on the same flights and airports...it was a hoot.
Leave on monday catch the friday flight back do it again next week.
A good friend of mine did the same (going to DC). He was in business development.
Playing with parts was fun.
I did a lot of sole source work for many years

Consult w/ emerging tech startups. word of mouth....been doing my own thing since 2000. but started consulting in '95.
You could say I packed it in.....I liked working w/ the scientist and engineers on interesting project to me.
Ah. I’ve been out for 2 years now. They wouldn’t lay me off, so I left to take care of a heart condition.
All better now and volunteer at the local PD.
Oh, I'm sorry about the heart thing, are u well?
I am now.
They redid the procedure and it worked.
I haven’t felt like this in years.
Wheew, I'm sure that was a scare. Local PD, we just had a new person in this morning retired PD.
Yeah, I needed something new and different. The local PD has always been quite helpful and understanding in my interactions. I’ve also got LE in the family.
Yeah getting my life in order to...I try to walk most days...lost my overage and feel much better...little nagging things seems to have disappeared.
Oathkeepers?
When they took me oof all my prescription meds, it really was noticeable.
I’m not real familiar with oathkeeepers. I’ve heard of them, but no details.
Pharma, I know. My sister was caregiver to my mom. When she got her she was on 12 meds....My sister got her off all but 2, did alternative homo treatment...I've picked up on it and feel so much better..
