Now you're talkin girl. GE is a pretty darn good company still. They have this down as routine. Just watch for the traps in data they request from you. I like to play dumb and let GE explain the process then see how many people you get when you call back and have different instructions from different people. U raise a good point, the bennies are an insurance program GE buys...not a GE matter really they are just a third party.....

Biggest question is whether the annuity is joint & survivor........or not. If it is, his bennies will continue. If not, Mom owes back payments.
