No problem there is a learning curve with Discord and everyone faces the exact same curve. After a day or so it will begin to make sense so be patient and give it some time.

There is nothing intuitive about Discord so don't try to make any sense out of it that way you will just become frustrated. In other words just go with the flow

Any menu item with a speaker next to it is for voice and the hash tag items are text and no voice
