I think hes got the sign in boxes mixed up because he's getting a notice that says his email is already in use

which means hes trying to create another account

instead of signing in

how do I download discord

if you have not already, then please download the discord program so you are not using it in your web browser. because the 'in browser' form of discord is known to cause issues.

if your having account duplication issues then make sure to watch closely when logging in that you are on the login page and not the account creation page. (they look alot alike)

I am being required to enter an additional authorization from a mobile phone. I do not own a mobile phone. What do I do? I have a home phone. Also, how do I disable the pop-up messages on the lower-right side of my screen?

gOT MY ACCOUNT FIXED, COULDNT CLAIM IT, LOGGED OUT, THEN WENT TO LOG BACK IN BUT USED FORGOT PASSWORD, CHANGED PASSWORD AND T WORKED!

Ah, I see. If that's the case, could you open up an incognito browser, then use our forgot password feature available from the login page at discordapp.com/login? You just need to type in your email address and then click "Forgot your password?", and then you should get an email shortly with a link you can use to reset your password!

I really can't answer that question I have never tried. I don;t see what the advantage would be for doing that but if you want to give it a try then be my guest.
