@tattered flag To be clear, I followed all instructions in the past to the letter. The only differences I can see in the article and earlier instructions is task manager action happens later. In addition, there are additional steps if problems persist for Win 7 or 8. The additional steps I have not done and will do so after the hearings, today. Meanwhile, I will try to resolve my inadvertant "happy fingers" gif issue. Report back later on the Android phone gif issue, either way it goes. Thank you, I know it must be frustrating...it is for me, as well.

@Steven Martin Rest assured you are far more frustrated than I am because you are dealing with the damn problem. That is what I am here for is to try and assist others or at least point them in what I hope is the right direction. Not worries it's all good

Clarabel, theSteward revives...Steven Martin. Javascript error, hellcat assisted, as did tattered and coldbrewed. Used Revo Uninstaller and Bleachbit. Took quite a while but...as you can see, now I have my laptop back. Should be productive with writing projects again.
