In my case I used the F4 key but you can use whatever
Many people use the right hand "alt" key or shift key
Choose a key that you do not use often
Once you are ready we can test drive your mic in the help desk voice room where Clarabel and I are sitting
Just pop on in there and we will give it a shot
ok so when it's not push to talk, it seems as if my mic is picking up but says no input. When I set to push to talk and hit the key it does not pick up anything
Tjams told me i could use my earbuds and I'm wondering if that is the issue
There is a mic test in that same window. Did you try your mic there?
yep
And it worked?
I think the issue is that my tower has an input for mic and headphones but my earbuds only have the one input
Let me guess you are using Windows 10
yes
Did you download the app more than one time
I dont believe on this pc but could be wrong
Okay if you have two or more copies on your hard drive it will corrupt both copies and cause audio issues
on a tower I think that can be an issue instead of one spot it has two different spots
Also with Windows 10 you have to allow your mic permission to use the discord app
@Clarabel Thank you and correct
lol @tattered flag yayyy I'm correct about something today! tee hee
yes, Clarabel.
I prolly have to allow permission also
Yes give that a shot
