4 isnt really a debate. it will decrease the yields. There is a huge body of evidence for this from all the countries that have tried it. Second of all, food is extremely cheap in america under capitalism. You can buy 50 lbs of rice for like 20 bucks. Anyone working at mcdonalds can make that much money in an afternoon and eat rice for months
