so im watching han solo online

about half-way through

and ofc this is the first star wars movie where my hopes were fucking 0 going in

so maybe that is why so far it doesn't seem that bad

i mean han solo never really strikes you as han solo, which honestly I think is a good thing

it doesn't really ruin him

just another thing to dislike about it, not the main issue at all

the main issue is they make an incredibly random film that makes no sense when they try and be original

and when they aren't trying, we get a new hope a second time, just without the characters we know and love

they made star wars basically just an action film with predictable plots in the force awakens

only thing it had going for it was the epic star wars universe and a huge budget

episode 8 has 0 to work with

showed cool planets and new shit, didn't fuck anything up, filled plot holes of the original trilogy, showed the more infantry side of star wars

but it isn't as bad as I thought tbh

shouldn't have tried a love story though

only the names made in star wars

but I mean I like that it shows for one, a bit of insight into the empire
