when the empire was first there and the clones were basically gone (their lifespan was like 8x faster so they died quick)

they needed to assert rule over the galaxy

stormtrooper army and equipment is expensive shit

so they actually had pretty standard infantry

then they phased them out with stormtroopers

who used to serve as basically marines

and then we get to see the pyke syndicate i know

and see the crime world of star wars always fascinates me

but this could have been better done with just Boba Fett

which we are getting now

but I sort of feel worn on it now

solo was just the wrong character for a context film

everyone is begging for an Obi-wan kenobi film

they need to make it happen

after Order 66 on tantooine

the actor for Obi-wan in the prequels is at a fine age for it still

they need to get to it

they should film it kind of like the movie Logan was

Logan and deadpool are two examples of taking superhero films to the next level

both in opposite directions

but they made it different from predictable, large scale plot action films

a rated R super self-aware and hilarious film, never done before with superhero films

then a rated R, super serious and emotional film, never done before with superhero films

Obi-Wans life on tantooine would work so well if the people that made logan made it

a major internal struggle between the things he learned in the jedi order, his love for Anakin but hatred for Vader, seeing the empire take over, knowing he needs to stay on Tatooine and let it all happen so he can train luke but can't stand doing nothing type of shit

I mean honestly just let me make the film amiright

I'd love to see an actual star wars show, seeing the success of something like GoT, do it in the old republic so you don't have shit to abide by really

the Mandalorian wars, the politics of it

would work great

instead we get this average action films, shitty cartoons
