why not both?
hmm, I say blog
blogs can facilitate discussion
@Extra Crispy having both requires a more technical site, linking wiki to wp is a nightmare
wikis can have comments
Ballotpedia already handles the wiki part IMO
really?
hmm
is ballotpedia on our side?
aye, if there are already quality wikies in existence, leaving the job to them might be a better idea
Ballotpedia seems to source the Daily Kos sometimes lol
I have no experience managing Wikis though
@Extra Crispy give me some that we can add to
then we can set up a blog that links to articles
that already exist
this solves 2 problems in one
👌🏻
particularly since it would also mean that it would have to mean that there would be more than one target should someone try to destroy
looks completely underworked though
the danger with wikis is that they can get too overwrought
let's have a minimalistic blog that is easy to navigate, easy to read, and gets people motivated to take productive action
sounds good
a blog really isn't too hard to set up
we can link to good wikis where they exist
I don't want long wiki articles that will encourage people to sit for hours on end
let's discuss how to organize the blog though
let's have some sort of sidebar, and a section for each state
in each section, have subsections for the senate race, the house races, the governor's race, and the state legislature races
something sort of like youtube's side bar thing?
I want it to look exactly like this discord
categories = states
to the point
that might be hard
Youtube has a sidebar?
and simple
I wouldn't call it a sidebar
yeah if you look on the left side, there's a little button you can click that will show you your subs, likes, etc
its not really a side bar, but its something similar to one
