Okay, I guess I can see that.
This server will be different
Because **I am the captain now**
what does that mean
like more fun
less gang rape-y
Honestly it means nothing because I’m not actually the captain. But the hope is that this server, like its past ghost AE once was, can be, well. . .
I know, I know, don’t be afraid
It’s actually possible from what I hear
Im not afraid. Just kind of wondering how this will be different.
But I will stick around for a bit to see
hopefully it will be more fair and balanced than 24/7
and you know
We will see!
I am kind of excited to see
If it's like classic AE it'll be much harder to get banned
No banning for a different opinion here.
We don’t ban for different opinions there.
The problem is that when beliefs are asserted as facts they get angry at being refuted. Then when they’re held to having to prove the axiom from which they derive their beliefs they obfuscate, delay and dodge. That is why they get banned.
That is also why I don’t allow globe enthusiasts to be mods over there. How can you be a fair moderator when you think beliefs are knowledge?
The cry of the victim, “woe is me, muh opinion!”
For instance if you try to use an affirming the consequent fallacy and we correct you then you assert that it isn’t a fallacy and try it again you will cry foul thinking that qualifies as ‘being punished for different opinions.’
But you do notice the irony, yeah?
And I’m gonna be ***brutally honest*** with you guys. Just yesterday three trolls came into one of the voice chats. After an hour one left, one leaned FE and the other was convinced of FE. You guys have kept using the same arguments for three years. You don’t do tests, you don’t have any passion and you all ***somehow*** always end up together on the same server. **You guys** are the echo chamber.
We bring new people in every single day.
The irony of you saying "when beliefs are asserted as facts."
Like believing in a radius which you can’t observe.
Proofs in the pudding.
Anyone who isn’t an autistic atheist, globe activist is easily shown that there’s no curve and that the pictures from space are in serious question.
Conversely an autistic atheist, globe activist can’t be shown anything because all they have are denials and appeals to authority.
So they see irony where none is present.
What if they aren't an atheist?
