how would we breathe

2018-10-04 01:57:28 UTC

nitrogen makes up most of the air

2018-10-04 01:57:34 UTC

nitrogen is probly like, higher up

2018-10-04 01:57:45 UTC

True that would make sense if it was layered above

2018-10-04 01:57:50 UTC

@Kitty Peper is right.

2018-10-04 01:57:50 UTC

its roughly 73% nitrogen 24% oxygen 3% everything else

2018-10-04 01:57:52 UTC

explains why we can't breathe in a plane

2018-10-04 01:57:56 UTC

Really?

2018-10-04 01:57:59 UTC

yip

2018-10-04 01:58:11 UTC

i might maybe slightly off, but roughly

2018-10-04 01:58:16 UTC

hm

2018-10-04 01:58:28 UTC

Why do we trust that figure though, if so much else is fabrication

2018-10-04 01:58:32 UTC

If it is fabrication...

2018-10-04 01:58:34 UTC

I am really confused

2018-10-04 01:58:39 UTC

We have to test it ourselves.

2018-10-04 01:58:46 UTC

How?

2018-10-04 01:58:52 UTC

air dencity is irelevant to how clear it is

2018-10-04 01:58:57 UTC

78% nitrogen 21% oygen 1% everything else

2018-10-04 01:59:05 UTC

glass is far more denser than air yet we can easily see thru it

2018-10-04 01:59:07 UTC

@Σ5 Then what's fog?

2018-10-04 01:59:21 UTC

I've take a plan several times and the windows and doors are always locked so we must assume something is going on that would deny us access to the outside at those altitudes.

2018-10-04 01:59:24 UTC

fog is a suspension of microscopic droplets of water

2018-10-04 01:59:25 UTC

@Toothcake Good one

2018-10-04 01:59:53 UTC

caused by high humidity

2018-10-04 01:59:54 UTC

@the boi yes its called a locked door and a solid wall

2018-10-04 02:00:01 UTC

so the plane stays up

2018-10-04 02:00:04 UTC

So is it the nitrogen that causes the vanishing of the land

2018-10-04 02:00:05 UTC

@Σ5 Do not dismiss the density of air. That’s never been debated.

2018-10-04 02:00:06 UTC

and you dont die

2018-10-04 02:00:09 UTC

I only mean to say that, clearly, some particulates obscure more than others; thus, they are denser as they cover more. That seems empirical.

2018-10-04 02:00:09 UTC

Is that what I am to glean from this

2018-10-04 02:00:12 UTC

usualy if have a saturated air then you lower the temperature

2018-10-04 02:00:24 UTC

Once again, you are only seeing what is in front of you like limestone. There is something beyond the wall.

2018-10-04 02:00:44 UTC

there is something beyound the carbon composite airframe

2018-10-04 02:00:59 UTC
2018-10-04 02:01:17 UTC

a thin atmosphere and thousands of feet of nothing till you hit the ground

2018-10-04 02:02:23 UTC

@Σ5 Atmospheric density has never been a debated issue. It must be included.

2018-10-04 02:02:33 UTC

Why is it not debated

2018-10-04 02:02:39 UTC

and Earth roundness is?

2018-10-04 02:02:54 UTC

well its debatable with me

2018-10-04 02:02:54 UTC

Not trying to be confrontational I am really curious
