2018-10-16 02:34:16 UTC

2018-10-16 02:34:19 UTC

2018-10-16 02:34:23 UTC

2018-10-16 02:34:38 UTC

prove it

2018-10-16 02:34:43 UTC

you are so close to earth you dont see a curved horizon

2018-10-16 02:34:47 UTC

im trying to find it

2018-10-16 02:35:13 UTC

ill use my phone

2018-10-16 02:35:19 UTC

The nba look like it takes up say 25% of the surface of the basket ball until you back away from it

2018-10-16 02:42:07 UTC

now imagine this affect over a 1000 times more apparent

2018-10-16 03:29:16 UTC

Those are cool pictures and good point

2018-10-16 03:29:30 UTC

i hadn't seen a picture like this

2018-10-16 03:30:20 UTC

Angular sizes different

2018-10-16 03:30:28 UTC

Probably cropped

2018-10-16 03:31:17 UTC

what

2018-10-16 03:31:44 UTC

They crop the photos to try and match up the angular size of the ball

2018-10-16 03:33:06 UTC

Anyways, on earth photos it rrally doesn't matter. The photos the give us are admitted computer generated and photoshopped

2018-10-16 03:33:07 UTC

no it definitely has a different perspective

2018-10-16 03:33:18 UTC

Yeah that much is true

2018-10-16 03:33:49 UTC

They use "data" to create the images

2018-10-16 03:35:21 UTC

@Kitty perspective sure. But the sizes of the ball are different

2018-10-16 03:35:54 UTC

NASA photos have same size ball. Different size continents

2018-10-16 03:35:58 UTC

Its odd

2018-10-16 05:28:23 UTC

i cropped the far away picture so that you can see the ball clearly, but either way you could still see more of the ball

2018-10-16 05:28:32 UTC

my point still stands

2018-10-16 05:34:37 UTC

Hm

2018-10-16 05:35:58 UTC

cropping only removes an outer rim of pixels making the image appear larger, it does not change the picture in any way shape or form

2018-10-16 05:37:03 UTC

What point is that suppose to be making?

2018-10-16 05:37:36 UTC

Citizen Z said it was because of cropping
