It isn't even a deadly mental disorder.

You either force the brain to conform to the body, or force the body to conform to the brain. Which one is more acceptable?

That's a hard question to answer.

There are too many people like Citizen who don't understand the simple nature of this disorder. And then people who take it too far.

Maybe if the cause for transgender (I don't know the proper English modifier here) was discovered, the debate would be put to rest

If it were looked into it I'm sure they would find out why instead of shoving it to the side and deciding not to do anything about it.

There is actually an article about the boy brain and the girl brain which some scientists believe is the reason why some people feel that they are the wrong gender or are pulled towards one thing then another.

Yeah, I saw some research where they found brain structures that matched the opposite gender in transgender individuals

It could easily be a solid reason for it. At least at the moment until it is looked into more.
