its amazing though everyone i run into in these flat earth rooms is like a rocket scientist genius

2019-04-22 23:42:21 UTC

magnetic levitation requires a magnet, some metal, and some electricity

2019-04-22 23:42:32 UTC

is the magnet thing portable

2019-04-22 23:42:33 UTC

nah i'm not that smart

2019-04-22 23:42:43 UTC

portability isn't a factor for either one

2019-04-22 23:42:54 UTC

they'd both be used to make something else move

2019-04-22 23:43:02 UTC

i feel like the sound thing could move stuff around easier maybe the magnet better for those high speed trains but

2019-04-22 23:43:29 UTC

lets say i wanna move a 100 ton rock from a to b that can be done easier with magnets than sound ?

2019-04-22 23:43:40 UTC

it would be really difficult with either one

2019-04-22 23:43:48 UTC

how would u do it with magnets

2019-04-22 23:44:13 UTC

you'd have to load the rock onto a vehicle that can be levitated with magnets

2019-04-22 23:44:25 UTC

unless the rock is somehow magnetic it would be impossible to do otherwise

2019-04-22 23:45:16 UTC

and the sound one u could lift right off the ground ?

2019-04-22 23:45:21 UTC

no

2019-04-22 23:45:30 UTC

you'd have to get speakers under it

2019-04-22 23:46:06 UTC

yeah i dont think the tech in that is too advanced yet

2019-04-22 23:46:15 UTC

ill tellu what im psyched about is 3d printing

2019-04-22 23:46:33 UTC

in like 10 years we'll probably have inexpensive 3d printing with metal

2019-04-22 23:46:35 UTC

which will be sick

2019-04-22 23:46:43 UTC

im thinkin anything

2019-04-22 23:46:49 UTC

rubber pplatic metal food

2019-04-22 23:46:57 UTC

composite wood whatever u wanted

2019-04-22 23:47:08 UTC

3d printing with organic materials would definitely take longer

2019-04-22 23:47:12 UTC

instead of buying a sneaker in the store u print them

2019-04-22 23:47:17 UTC

i'd estimate 30 years minimum

2019-04-22 23:47:19 UTC

ok forget food

2019-04-22 23:47:24 UTC

rubber and all that

2019-04-22 23:47:29 UTC

plastic metal

2019-04-22 23:47:36 UTC

rubber can already be printed with, as well as plastic

2019-04-22 23:47:42 UTC

metal can be printed with but it

2019-04-22 23:47:46 UTC

's really expensive

2019-04-22 23:47:48 UTC

yeah but the ones for like hobbyists is just plastic right

2019-04-22 23:47:58 UTC

nah you can do rubber too

2019-04-22 23:48:04 UTC

depends on the printer you buy

2019-04-22 23:48:07 UTC

prolly mad expensive ?

2019-04-22 23:48:09 UTC

yeah

2019-04-22 23:48:18 UTC

the higher end ones definitely are expensive

2019-04-22 23:48:25 UTC

i know ive looked lol

2019-04-22 23:48:33 UTC

im waiting till the tech gets a little better

2019-04-22 23:48:53 UTC

need to be able to print more useful items to make it worth it before i buy

2019-04-22 23:48:56 UTC

like i said in ten years metal printing will probably be affordable enough to do in a home
