the equator is the only place u can go east and stay ont he same line of lattitude imo

2019-04-24 00:44:16 UTC

More complicated on a Globe, this is non-euclidean, if you self correct with a compass, you can stay on any particular latitude

2019-04-24 00:45:10 UTC

It is easier for me to visualize on a flat earth

2019-04-24 00:45:34 UTC

well idk

2019-04-24 00:45:50 UTC

And it doesn't matter which map, AE and Mercator are simple to me in this case

2019-04-24 00:46:11 UTC

to me it makes more sense to me that when ur on a globe u go east u will end up at the equator

2019-04-24 00:46:32 UTC

ok how about this

2019-04-24 00:46:55 UTC

we take a pole run it from the middle of the sun to earth

2019-04-24 00:47:07 UTC

their is our marker

2019-04-24 00:47:09 UTC

on earth

2019-04-24 00:47:23 UTC

where is the marker gonna be at sunrise on the equinox

2019-04-24 00:47:30 UTC

on the equator

2019-04-24 00:47:49 UTC

everyones looking east at that pole

2019-04-24 00:48:08 UTC

Straight out to the sun

2019-04-24 00:48:38 UTC

It was already depicted above with those straight lines on the globe

2019-04-24 00:51:08 UTC

we gotta pick a new topic tomorrow

2019-04-24 00:51:14 UTC

this east thing is getting us nowhere lol

2019-04-24 00:51:17 UTC

holy crap he still doesn't get this

2019-04-24 00:51:29 UTC

Eh whatever

2019-04-24 00:52:11 UTC

id like to see this east thing done

2019-04-24 00:52:20 UTC

by someone who owns a plane

2019-04-24 00:52:28 UTC

idk

2019-04-24 00:52:31 UTC

if you're looking at something in teh sky, why are you talking about the equator

2019-04-24 00:52:56 UTC

becuase when the sun rises we see it at the equator on the equinox

2019-04-24 00:53:12 UTC

se we are all looking at the sun and the equator on a sunrise on the equinox

2019-04-24 00:53:13 UTC

so you see it on the horizon, in the eastward dirction

2019-04-24 00:53:31 UTC

when you look east, you're not looking at the equator

2019-04-24 00:53:39 UTC

you're looking parallel with a line of latitude

2019-04-24 00:53:50 UTC

when i look at the sunrise on an equinox i am looking east and at the equator

2019-04-24 00:54:39 UTC

taht's the wrong part

2019-04-24 00:54:41 UTC

you're looking east

2019-04-24 00:54:47 UTC

which doesn't point at the equator

2019-04-24 00:54:55 UTC

you'd have to point south east to look at the equator

2019-04-24 00:55:41 UTC

so when i lookk at a sunrise ont he equinox im not looking at the equator ?

2019-04-24 00:55:46 UTC

right

2019-04-24 00:55:56 UTC

you're looking at the sun,

2019-04-24 00:56:00 UTC

well i can show u on google earth i am looking at the equator

2019-04-24 00:56:04 UTC

how

2019-04-24 00:56:28 UTC

Here is what he is referring to

2019-04-24 00:56:35 UTC

I know he was gonna do that

2019-04-24 00:56:51 UTC

So next question is, why are the lines not straight east, why do they curve
