all a trade defecate means is that we import more then we export. The Federal government does not export nor import anything directly
also, if you are so worried about debt, which as of right now is fine, then why would you cut taxes and not drastically decrease spending?

if you have a trade deficit that means that the government has to cover that trade deficit somehow
but the whole point of conservative economics is that you let private business do the spending. So to do that you decrease taxes, and you decrease government speading
