The bot knows I'm too good to kick
Absolutely
if you look at the bible, it supposes that all humans come from just 2 people, Adam and Eve
I've postulated that humans have only been on this planet for the last 5 to 6 K years
I use the term planet roughly, since its flat
We should have gone extinct long before now due to inbreeding.
(If we all came from two people)
running a calculation on how many generations would it take to generate the number of people we have today, the answer is roughly 33 generations
What's your calculation?
presuming 20 years per generations, comes to roughly 660 years, minus all the early death and plagues, etc, explains for why it would take a little less than 10 times that long
2 people to the 33rd power
2 to the 33rd power is 8589934592
It's not quite as in depth as usual population calculations
Also it’s a well known fact that population growth has never been stable.
the point is that its extremely feasible that Adam and Eve was at the core of our existance, and we are all related
directly from GOD
Inbreeding, though...
I think incest wasn't a thing early on, when the genes were pure it didn't matter
<:thonk:485324336874651650>
only after so many generations does it start to matter
Nah it's 3am and I'm too tired to argue stuff I did in my degree
Eve came from the Rib of Adam according to the bible
his own DNA
Yeah so she had his exact same genome.
Yet somehow she was female...?
I think GOD can do whatever he wants, including messing with Genes to create what he wants
The second X chromosome usually just deactives irl
The old god of the gaps
But if you have ex machina I suppose anything is possible
like I said, I think whether they shared the same DNA or not, it was pure enough it didn't matter
That's not how DNA works
^
only when we are like leaves on a tree branch, closer at this far from the main trunk does it matter on incest
That’s, again, not how DNA works.
two leaves that are too closely related this far from the main trunk is it a bad idea and will create undesirable offspring with bad mutations
lets review what we know, that we know very little, including DNA and how it works
How did the variation that we see in humans come about if there was only 2 people
how long ago did we supposedly map the DNA and what stuff does
Also we know loads about DNA lmao
like 10 or 15 years ago, we really don't know how it works
