So personally? I'm not surprised.
Entirely anecdotal but most of them seem like they completely lack any sort of skills to find out things for themselves
Like when I walk into a shitty area and there's bogans everywhere, except it's their whole country
Yeah. Ok, I'll agree with you there. We don't know about the rest of the world
Most of us anyway
But yeah that's a problem, media a shit. American media is especially but, but I won't say Australian media is *that* much better
The Americans are guilty of only listening to what they are told. Regrettably, this harms the rest of the world. The US foreign policies and such.
I'm egotistical and like to think highly of myself
US foreign policies are fucking terrible man
Lemme just
swing around my military dick
Do what i say ok
So I'd like to think I'm one of the few who can think for myself
I like to think most of the world can think for themselves
But I also refuse to associate with people who can't do that
<:smart:484956754489376781>
So maybe I'm just biased because I don't pay attention to those people
I was raised in extremely Christian Republican household, but you wouldn't think that if you met me
It’s not only an American problem.
Definitely one of the worst, though
I don't know what it's like over in Saudi Arabia or similar countries, but given their laws? Can't imagine it's very good.

There is a growing problem where the people become dependent on the system. These people become sheep...their puppets.
40 % of us don't believe in evolution. 20% of us are unsure. According to Wikipedia. According to the Huffington post 42% of us don't believe in evolution.
"believe in"
That makes it sound like a faith, rather than something that can be proven (or disproven)
Well that's what most people believe here
I'm in the 40% I didn't cite
@Reviire It’s not a faith. It’s called a belief.
I don't know when these statistics were taken
I do know Wikipedia and the Huffington post cites them
Except for it to be a belief, it would have to be something you can't prove, or at least, reasonably prove.
Well I disagree
I believe things fall when I drop them
I'm forced to believe reality
Evolution just happens to be part of that
@Reviire That is correct. Evolution has not yet been proven. Where is the missing link?
I wouldn't really call something that can be proven a belief, personally. Especially when it's so easy to get mixed up in faith. *Especially* something like gravity
Well, I'm not forced. But if I didn't believe it then I'm ignorant or dissonant
