@Bender the real issue is that it should just be advise. If you choose to listen, great your smart. If you choose not to, great your stupid and will probably maybe possibly get some one sick and they may potentially maybe possibly die. That is Liberty. Life will ALWAYS result in death. And Liberty means that you have the freedom to make choices before you die. Because you will die. We all will. So what's the problem with me doing whatever the fuck I choose before I die.

2020-05-14 04:16:54 UTC

oh no i completely get it

2020-05-14 04:17:03 UTC

like i said the government should *not* be able to force anyone to stay inside

2020-05-14 04:17:07 UTC

I know I have an issue

2020-05-14 04:17:11 UTC

or fine anyone, or jail anyone

2020-05-14 04:17:13 UTC

or close businesses

2020-05-14 04:17:20 UTC

Agreed

2020-05-14 04:17:21 UTC

I wish my dad wasn't super high risk.

2020-05-14 04:17:29 UTC

I wish I wasnt

2020-05-14 04:17:43 UTC

the issue for me is that they should be doing this anyways and i really hate that *not* doing it and being stupid has become a point for "ownin' duh libzz"

2020-05-14 04:17:47 UTC

like

2020-05-14 04:17:51 UTC

He's scared to even go to town to shop.

2020-05-14 04:17:54 UTC

@Bender you made a fat man smile. You must be food

2020-05-14 04:17:57 UTC

way to politicize a fucking global pandemic, tards

2020-05-14 04:18:09 UTC

yeah

2020-05-14 04:18:31 UTC

my mom is 50s and has COPD and chain smokes, my dad is 50s and has a compromised immune system and is obese and drinks

2020-05-14 04:18:37 UTC

so like

2020-05-14 04:18:40 UTC

either of them get it, it's over

2020-05-14 04:19:04 UTC

and even though i've lost weight i'm still in the threshold for being at risk because of my obesity

2020-05-14 04:20:13 UTC

Yeah my dad is early sixties, overweight, diabetic, his heart is in shitty condition and he smoked for like 25 years. He quit like 16 years ago though. That helps a ton.

2020-05-14 04:20:36 UTC

those first 4 put him at huge risk, keep him safe man

2020-05-14 04:20:52 UTC

covid has been observed to damage the lungs, heart, and i believe kidneys

2020-05-14 04:21:27 UTC

He lives like an 8 minute drive from civilization, so he's fairly isolated at least.

2020-05-14 04:22:02 UTC

***laughs in 3 hour drive into town***

2020-05-14 04:22:05 UTC

but yeah thats good

2020-05-14 04:22:17 UTC

Buddy of mine is in his mid thirties but his lungs are absolutely ruined.

2020-05-14 04:22:34 UTC

yeah

2020-05-14 04:23:06 UTC

it certainly isn't a 98% survival rate, but if you are young and healthy with no pre-existing anything and you don't drink or smoke you have good odds but it can still kill you. you aren't invincible

2020-05-14 04:23:19 UTC

6% lethality in the states rn

2020-05-14 04:23:25 UTC

muuuch higher in other places

2020-05-14 04:23:37 UTC

> it certainly isn't a 98% survival rate, but if you are young and healthy with no pre-existing anything and you don't drink or smoke you have good odds but it can still kill you. you aren't invincible
@Bender
It is tho. Sorry but math dont lie

2020-05-14 04:23:45 UTC

no it isn't

2020-05-14 04:23:55 UTC

6% lethality means that 94% recover

2020-05-14 04:24:08 UTC

you can't have a 6% lethality and a 98% recovery rate, that math doesnt check out

2020-05-14 04:24:10 UTC

The death rate vs the population as a whole is under .1%
These are the facts

2020-05-14 04:24:11 UTC

you can't have over 100%

2020-05-14 04:24:17 UTC

I don't think statistics are factoring in those who get it and are never tested.

2020-05-14 04:24:32 UTC

and they certainly aren't factoring in those who have died at home

2020-05-14 04:25:07 UTC

in all reality, we're never really going to be able to compare the true number of deaths until we are able to take the amount of people who died in 2019 and compare it to the amount of people who died in 2020

2020-05-14 04:25:22 UTC

that will be the only concrete number in the end
