and those quotes Citizen listed also in a nutshell just state that you cant tell whether you are moving relative to something or that something rotating relative to you through simple optical experiments because you are apart of the relative system

They either had to discard the ether or admit we weren't orbiting the sun. They didnt know what to do

Citizen, it did have to do with the speed of light, it would move faster going with the aether and slower against it causing a difference like what was expected, but we couldnt find any difference disproving we are moving through an aether

as i've said time and time again, a lot of science is made up to account for the flaws of the globe earth model

listen, all im saying is the Michelson Morley experiment cant prove/disprove we are moving around the sun, or that we are moving at all, but it disproved that we are moving through an Aether
