Pro-lifers and pro-choicers hate me
Since when
Since I started debating abortion
You seemed pretty pro 'life' last time we had this debate
Pro-lifers hate me because I accept that abortion is permissible in certain cases. Those ones are entirely against abortion. I, on the other hand, am not
Assuming that every pro 'llifer' is against certain cases
Certain cases like what?
Rape, incest, the fetus already being dead (idk why it's called an abortion then), cases where the mother might die, stuff like that
Well yeah, those are all justifiable instances.
lol *incest*
Why that one
But for some reason, most pro-lifers start attacking me the instant I say that there *are* instances of justifiable abortion
But a woman wanting an abortion due to inconvenience is not a valid reason. But it seems to be the number one reason in most cases.
Because in a lot of cases of incest, it's also rape. Secondarily, that child will have a much higher chance of being born with fatal genetic disorders. Obviously if it was consensual, and the child appears to be healthy, I'm against abortion.
So just more rape
Huh
A moderate approach that I can appreciate @gohan
I tend to be moderate on most things. I took that political compass test, and I was dead-center, no deviance whatsoever
I wish I had screenshotted that
I was just ever so slightly to the right of center.
I can agree with most of these but I disagree that women shouldn't have the right to an abortion just because you don't know where they are coming from/don't care unless something illegal happened
I should take that test again, sometimes our views change and we don’t even know if.
@DrPeper Where you at?
Did you run away? 😂
@Soldz (CF) Perhaps we'll never agree on abortion. Just as I will probably never be able to satisfactorily explain to Citizen Z why the DSCOVR images actually make sense.
True
(by the way, they do make sense, if you know enough about how the EPIC camera was put together)
O
But I digress
Disagreements on abortion stem from one discrepancy: does life begin at conception, or at birth?
As long as that goes unresolved, these arguments won't end.
At birth obviously
At conception
See the problem?
The problem stems from the definition of human life
Its pretty obvious where life starts
Yes
At birth, and for certain reasons
At conception, and for certain reasons
What are your reasons
You first
