It is fair to say that there are many ways to travel. Not everyone is just doing it for the escape.

Myself on the other hand

only neurotic people with no actual inner life are interested in "seeing" the world rather than finding a part of it they truly enjoy and build a lasting relationship with it

It helps me appreciate the parts of the developed world that may be otherwise taken for granted
