The “Great Awakening” is a term for people that are being red-pilled. Or waking up to the great evils being perpetrated throughout the world. It’s not a religious phenomena, however.
And what are the "great evils"
It’s a corrupt system that has been secretly controlling how we live or think. Starting wars, false flags, withholding valuable technology, mind control, etc etc etc. All designed to dumb us down and control us.

Not exactly. Mostly what is part of this corrupt system is already well known, but it has become so massive and intertwined that piecing it all together is difficult.
