my point of view is, alienation is exceptional

people working 9-5 jobs know deep down what they do is stupid, but they go through a series of mental gymnastics to rationalize it internally so that they dont have to face reality

and they have plenty of distractions to help them with this

sex and the city, green day, the walking dead, etc.

maybe that's half true, is the life of a family man, a salary man really so unhealthy and pointless?

jobs can be jail and that can still be wrong

obligations are jail

there's everything right about being a family man obviously, but when your life is controlled by an employer and your very livelihood is in thrall to it, then there exists a control mechanism

there is freedom in the yoke, you serve your family and free yourself

human beings, as well as all creatures, desire freedom naturally

whereas if you attempt a different kind of "freedom", an absolute one
