well yeah, successful music is 50% music 50% marketing
that's why I never did it beyond a hobby level, I find self promotion revolting
the music does not speak for itself, the whoring does
but if you have a stomach for it more power to you
Well it took a while but I built a brand people take to
I feel like success easily comes to people willing to promote
I used to see my promo materials on the floor, now people at shows trade them like baseball cards
create artifical scarcity by having lots of designs and only bringing 1 or 2 of each
Can't be afraid to do silly shit like this
Oh noes spooky goth wigger brandishes a switchblade!
My stage persona is codiene sipping cult murder beat flayer. IRL I'm generally casually friendly and naturally spaced out due to ADD, and 100% no drugs or alcohol
emonigger is an apt term though insofar as I combine dark electronic with southern rap beats
I'm meeting one of ya'll today actually
With another one of the old guard gayniggers
I mean Streetcleaner was heavily influenced by RUN DMC
JKB wanted to do rap style beats
@UOC so I don't know if you ever commented either way on endurance training
my current thing is to work up over 3x10 to a 10RM, then do 7 more sets as heavy as I can, which ultimately ends up being like 70% 10RM
another option is to work up in 10s and then work down in 10-20 lb jumps and take each set to failure and give up after it takes more than 20-50 reps depending on how you feel that day
Yeah I need to get my ass in shape, I can put up weight on the bench but don't know much about cardio or diet
What are you doing sets of Ex?
@automaticblue what should I listen to on the soundcloud as something you're most proud of
@automaticblue#3634 are you aware of the 14 words?
what's the 14 words
I commented believing that it exists
I don't do any myself, although I guess my kettlebell program is pretty high volume
back
uh.... many exercises
I just have a general set/rep scheme I stick to for my PPL routine
I do PPL, in my head it's more of a list of muscles to hit and I pick which exact lifts to do kind of on the fly depending how I feel, how my joints feel, and what gear is open
PPL is push pull legs?
I'm not up to date on barbell training terms
yeah
push pull legs
I've played with everything from full body to brosplits and for me personally that's the most stable and versatile, I always end up returning to it
the best program is the one that you do
I'm just doing high volume kettlebells a couple times a week and a lot of bjj right now, which has been fun.
bjj is nice because it comes with some built in goals at a time when I am having to spend a lot of time on other shit
KB + calisthenics is a good way to exercise
even just the high volume calisthenics alone
