We will see
one sec ill throw it on then
here we go.
early queensryche was great
Sitar has a sound to it that can open worlds, maybe just a few, but be expansive within those realms.
everything up Empire and Mindcrime
Queensryche has not been put in rotation for me.
something about that prog metal aspect pissed me off about them
If you dont capture the audience right away with the music, you will lose them. If i have to hear a message or some recording of an acted out scenario, i get pissed off.
I think Operation Mindcrime did this to me
yeah Mindcrime had like 3 shitty intros lol
I was more patient in my teens than I am now
Yeah okay im glad i am not alone
That is not PROG
that is nonsense
and added nothing to the music
not even Theatrics
well it was a concept album that relied heavily on the actual plot and charactrrs
so they kinda trapped themselves
Yeah it was lost on me. I do not see the importance of that album.
had some solid writing in the first half especially
Queensryche is also pigeon holed in the 80's
the bad part of the 80's
In my opinion, the 80's metal should have stayed focused in this realm.

or rather, this should have prevailed over prog, power, hair metal.
Poser killing stuff.
