@fallot well people aren't open to things that challenge their views, like immigration, it's consensus that it's the best thing that could ever happen pretty much (although it's changing thankfully). Everyone has been brainwashed to believe in lies, so when those beliefs are challenged they will shut off completely. Cognitive dissonance.
