That would be pretty bad.

2019-03-03 03:45:48 UTC

Yes including mosquitos

2019-03-03 03:46:13 UTC

They are all part of the circle of life.

2019-03-03 03:46:31 UTC

To a very minimal extent in the case of mosquitoes

2019-03-03 03:46:36 UTC

Then what would happen to all the birds?

2019-03-03 03:47:00 UTC

A lot of life would disappear

2019-03-03 03:47:18 UTC

Insects cary much of the reproduction cycle of many plants

2019-03-03 03:47:23 UTC

Studies have been done that indicate mosquitoes have such a minimal impact on the ecology that making the most disease ridden species extinct would not be detrimental.

2019-03-03 03:47:41 UTC

According to scientists if all the insects disappear...all human life would disappear in 4 years.

2019-03-03 03:47:54 UTC

I don’t want all the insects gone

2019-03-03 03:47:59 UTC

Just mosquitoes.

2019-03-03 03:48:45 UTC

But bees and other similar insects spread much of the pollen

2019-03-03 03:48:46 UTC

Almost every creature contributes an important part of the natural ecological cycle. Mosquitoes are one of few that actually make things worse.

2019-03-03 03:48:53 UTC

Now that I think about it...I don’t see earth worms much anymore either 🤔

2019-03-03 03:49:02 UTC

Worms are good.

2019-03-03 03:49:07 UTC

Well, some

2019-03-03 03:49:12 UTC

Earthworms certainly are

2019-03-03 03:49:41 UTC

Earthworms are very important to the ecological system.

2019-03-03 03:49:53 UTC

Yep

2019-03-03 03:49:53 UTC

True

2019-03-03 03:50:35 UTC

I wonder the impact of herbicides and insecticides on the earth worm. 🤔

2019-03-03 03:50:51 UTC

Haven’t heard about that one.

2019-03-03 03:50:52 UTC

🤔

2019-03-03 03:51:05 UTC

I’m sure it hasn’t been very good

2019-03-03 03:51:31 UTC

Probably not

2019-03-03 03:52:06 UTC

I do think Worms are some of the most adaptable species. They probably can adjust more readily than most things.

2019-03-03 03:52:22 UTC

Our soils are depleted of most minerals. That too probably affects the earth worms.

2019-03-03 03:52:31 UTC

That said, that doesn’t mean they haven’t been affected.

2019-03-03 03:52:55 UTC

Our soils aren’t really depleted of minerals.

2019-03-03 03:53:08 UTC

Yes they are

2019-03-03 03:53:17 UTC

Especially iodine

2019-03-03 03:53:25 UTC

Of iodide

2019-03-03 03:53:36 UTC

Oh, nvm

2019-03-03 03:54:18 UTC

I don’t know about soil iodide levels, so I won’t speak on that.

2019-03-03 03:54:37 UTC

Magnesium as well

2019-03-03 03:55:59 UTC

@jlegend I posted a video about gmos I will post it in the gmo channel as well. It is a must watch!!!

2019-03-03 03:56:41 UTC

soil depletion include protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, riboflavin and ascorbic acid, according to a study published in 2004

2019-03-03 03:56:59 UTC

Yikes

2019-03-03 03:57:25 UTC

Yeah

2019-03-03 03:57:38 UTC

It is draining nutrients from crops as well
