Message from futurestorms in The Right Server #serious_chat
Oh yeah, so it'd have to take a longer amount of time
I was a user but I wasn't as well read as the others
@!Co-Owner! I'm not trying to deflate your enthusiasm. I am merely wondering why you need to convert me by your standard and not mine.
How do you mean
Faith and spirituality are a very personal thing.
I simply meant that the users in the server are very intellectual and they would most likely show you answers to questions you had so far as to begin your journey
Nothing less nothing more
If i really wanted to go all in, i'd visit the various churches in my area and talk to priests/clergy. Not a chat room.
I don't think you understand me
That is the next logical step. Thing is: i'm not much of a joiner.
They will not guide your faith
Would you classify yourself as an Observer or a Starter then?
They will not guide your journey
Just curiousity :)
The person who did not classify himself as a joiner
Observer. I am baptized. Really didn't ever attend or join a church. Just starting to read the bible
Non-Denom interested in orthodox, I recently converted and have not found a denomination
God is all around us and wants us to be happy in his light and glory, right?
Only god can answer that.
That's an answer you give when you are asked. But what if we ask the bible? - What does it say about that question ?
Well, then why can't i just sit quietly with my KJV in my yard, read peacfully and reference some queries using the web, instead of going to a mass/ritual?
Where did I say you have to do that?
I've no clue
I don't think he's implying that you said that :p
So, you have a few questions
I said i'm not much of a joiner. 😁
So you're asking me or no
He is asking
And I asked you a question
I'm confused now
Really interested in the answer to my question
"Well, then why can't i just sit quietly with my KJV in my yard, read peacfully and reference some queries using the web, instead of going to a mass/ritual?"
"That's an answer you give when you are asked. But what if we ask the bible? - What does it say about that question ?"
