if you were to take all blacks in america and make them their own country
they would be the 18th richest population in the world
yes, being in america makes one naturally more wealthy than many other places
but that doesn't mean one isn't poor
yes it does
25% of the black population is below the poverty line
Relative poverty line
The REAL poverty line is less than $2 a day.
it's essential to situate poverty within cost of living in location
the idea of living on 3$ a day in america is really absurd
Obviously not in the neighborhoods in poverty, as you put in
okay
so
why do these communities STAY in poverty?
Unemployment is higher in blacks
Name one ghetto that lasted for more than 50 years
And that's because they can't get a job either because tgey dropped out or commit a serious crime
or because they were raised by a single mother
or they chose not to finish high school
That too
WHY
WHY THOUGH
WE ALL KNOW THEY ARE DISADVANTAGED JUST GIVE US THE REASONW HY
Its almost like they aren't trying
In fact
what i actually think is that it's because of racism!
That's what the fuck it is
@casualgardener Please provide any proof
literally any
that links what they experience to their economic levels
*it's racism!*
Yeah
according to you
Not an argument
Blacks cant get ahead because of those DAMN racist BLACK police officers who keep them from getting a job
do u fucking hear yourself
@casualgardener This is literally exactly the same as the wage gap myth
between men and women
you dont account for anything
