it doesnt even save money

in what sense are they private

and it puts more people in jail

and also in shitty jails too

the police aren't privatized

or the courts

theyre corrupted

so it's the govenment deciding who gets imprisoned

the government forces us to pay for imprisonment

because these private prison companies are the ones paying the lower level officials off

the whole chain has to be private or none of it is

and the feds pay the companies back

there should be a federal standard for prisons to be held to

by the actual government itself

by the corrupt government

with unjust laws

and bribed polititians

and cops you believe kill unjustly

which you can't stop funding

and if you're using precious tax dollars to jail people judges would be less likely to jail non violent criminals and drug users which pose no threat on society

the federal budget

the government prints what it doesn't have in taxes

the government is trillions of dollars in debt

it doesn't just stop imprisoning people because taxes won't cover it

it just borrows

and further inflates the currency

if the government was limited by taxes, we wouldn't have had the iraq war

we wouldn't have debt

governments spend more than they take in taxes

and politicians base their decisions on the money they receive in lobbying

if a business acted the way governments do, it would've been sued into bankrupty, and boycotted

fraud
