@everyone apologies for the ping but this is actually important. the FCC is expected to announce a vote to abolish Net Neutality on November 22(The day before Thanksgiving). Once they announce the vote you will no longer be able to make a vote to them in support of it. For those that are unaware Net Neutrality is the principle that ALL data should be treated equally, say being able to go on the wiki or browsing Youtube, that is all protected by Net Neutrality, however if it were to be abolish your ISP(Internet service provider) will be able to charge extra to access those sites, charge fast lanes or worse have the site be BLOCKED by them.
We can still prevent this by simply calling your state members of congress by going to https://www.battleforthenet.com/. Once you put in your phone number and your zip code, depending on your member of congress you will be ask to send them a voicemail(This is where you need to tell them why you support Net Neutrality, keep it short and respectful). When you are done with your message press (*) to go straight to your next member. This will only take not even five minutes to do. Feel free to also tell your family and friends about the issue. Remember we have till November 22 to vote, but the sooner the better.
