There's a reason we're specifically not able to add this. We can't not show the unread indicator if a blocked person messages in a channel.
We had a pretty big debate about this internally - but being able to hide it would mean that unread indicators would be consistently when people who you block are talking in a channel. At least this way you know the unread activity isn't a bug - and just blocked people are talking.
Also - blocked people talking in a chat room and being replied to kinda makes the chat hard to follow. So the blocked indicator lets you know someone you blocked is being talked to and able to see their messages if you're curious.

I don't understand why people are sad because they don't have a girlfriend. From my point of view, you don't really need gf to make you happy, and if you get depressed over not having one... then i have nothing to say about that. The moral of the story is that try to make yourself happy, happiness comes from friends, family, and media (I suppose) I just don't get people sometimes
