Monarchy/=Tyranny
Democracy=Tyranny

2018-10-15 13:00:03 UTC

This is the cycle, and it is eternal.

2018-10-15 13:00:14 UTC

What about both

2018-10-15 13:00:16 UTC

You do realise the US is a republic not a direct democracy?

2018-10-15 13:00:39 UTC

Constitutional Representative Republic*

2018-10-15 13:00:41 UTC

Electoral college prevents tyranny of the majority that comes from democracy

2018-10-15 13:01:12 UTC

Monarchy is retarded

2018-10-15 13:01:12 UTC

The electoral college doesn't vote against the people, even when it's in their best interest.

2018-10-15 13:01:20 UTC

Why

2018-10-15 13:01:22 UTC

you have to rely on hereditary values only

2018-10-15 13:01:32 UTC

Democracy is retarded

2018-10-15 13:01:47 UTC

Thats not an argument against monarchy being retarded

2018-10-15 13:01:52 UTC

Pure democracy is retarded

2018-10-15 13:01:55 UTC

You have to rely on everyone, even those completely incompetent, to make a proper choice based off of values and not their wants

2018-10-15 13:01:56 UTC

monarchy is rart

2018-10-15 13:02:30 UTC

Representative Democracy is no better if the Representatives are absolute shite.

2018-10-15 13:02:33 UTC

Relying on one person to align with your values is no different
and a monarch is far harder to remove and stays in power for life

2018-10-15 13:02:51 UTC

Monarchy is no better if the monarch is absolute shite

2018-10-15 13:03:44 UTC

A monarch typically has more on the line. His legacy is the success of the nation, and he has been raised to make it succeed. When in an inter period of social transference to a new system, a monarchy makes more sense than the whim of the people or the whim of a the representatives.

2018-10-15 13:04:19 UTC

I don't like monarchies for the sake of monarchies, I like monarchies to achieve end goals more in line with the original values.

2018-10-15 13:04:52 UTC

You have an entire history of mad kings and tyrants to look back on as evidence of your folly

2018-10-15 13:04:55 UTC

Hi people

2018-10-15 13:04:57 UTC

hi

2018-10-15 13:05:04 UTC

<:GWnanamiRokaNaisu:398860628476952576>

2018-10-15 13:05:12 UTC

Relying on the lowest common denominator to pick the people with power

2018-10-15 13:05:39 UTC

You have a history of tyrants in democratic states too lol

2018-10-15 13:05:40 UTC

You have an entire history of empires and successful kings. You also have a history of ruined Democracies or representative Democracies.

2018-10-15 13:05:43 UTC

Your point is?

2018-10-15 13:05:53 UTC

>Sometimes things fail

2018-10-15 13:05:54 UTC

There is no president that has ever lived who even rivals the most mild of europeans tyrants
Even if they were on par the length of suffering would be at 4 years

2018-10-15 13:06:08 UTC

KEK

2018-10-15 13:06:12 UTC

4 years is a better span of time to endure a failure than a lifespan

2018-10-15 13:06:23 UTC

The world doesn’t revolve around the US

2018-10-15 13:06:32 UTC

Absolute monarchy or consitututional monarchy?

2018-10-15 13:06:37 UTC

Most kings didn't live a lifetime of rule, and most US presidents haven't achieved what kings do.

2018-10-15 13:07:00 UTC

Plus it was pretty shit depending who you were

2018-10-15 13:07:00 UTC

This is all just wild assumption

2018-10-15 13:07:23 UTC

Like during the Indians wars

2018-10-15 13:07:26 UTC

I'll just hope my tyrant king dies within the next 60 years
