OK while you are gone I'll bring up some points for you @Leiro レイロ 1 how can you claim flourishing innovation and growth when democracy is slower than a snail?
2 how can you claim that everyone will follow through and participate in votes when they don't want to make company desisions 3 how do you enforce socialism when a rogue innovator assembles a team, buys resources and indulges in their free will, how do you stop revolt at appointed rule 4 how do you prevent corruption

>peoples republic aka socialism

2018-10-18 11:12:35 UTC

@WizardLizardInABlizzard the only good thing socialism does is provide basic needs. That's it just 1 thing nothing else.

2018-10-18 11:16:28 UTC

@WizardLizardInABlizzard, of course, I'm not saying a welfare state is needed

2018-10-18 11:16:29 UTC

innovation and growth would still happen even if democratic policies are slow. The industry benefits from their labour being more productive by introducing more and more efficient and better services as well as automation. The whole point is socialism is to achieve post-scarcity through innovation. This system does not utilize profit to be the key cornerstone to innovation.

2. I have already told you that if people don't decide on policies on their own, they will lose out and not get accounted for. Your assumption only works under the regard that the worker dosent care whether he gets exploited or not, which is false.

3. We would review what happens when it actually happens. If they want to open a new one business, these people have to make sure that they follow the theory of SNLT in the way that workers are paid appropriately, thus they don't get exploited. It would be unlikely such a business can be sustained, because the business will run mostly at a loss of they follow these principles.

4. Corruption? Information would be publicly available, free and can be accessed relatively easily to prevent it. That way, if some amount of capital goes missing or anything, we can actually assert that corruption happened and we would seek to find the perpetrator

Your faith in humanity warms my heart

2018-10-18 11:19:25 UTC

I spent a couple of mins writing that so that you can get your questions answered, that's your reply? Jeez. At least give me credit even if we both disagree with each other

2018-10-18 11:19:37 UTC

and why ask questions if your going to dismiss it

2018-10-18 11:19:40 UTC

OK now just for the sake of it how is military controled

2018-10-18 11:19:46 UTC

please actually debunk my points

2018-10-18 11:20:09 UTC

the military? I'm not sure.

2018-10-18 11:20:38 UTC

how the military is enforced is a whole new question

@Weissest planning a 1.5k dollar build soon, not sure about the processor though.

2018-10-18 11:25:24 UTC

@Leiro レイロ thank you for your honest reply so I will give you an honest rebuttle
1 innovation needs motivation, "a better world" only works with some key industries the rest need concrete motivation
2 that is how classes form; those that decide and those that follow.
3 compitent men will flee to a country where they are free to pursue their capitalist venture. A BIG problem with communism and socialism is you can't keep your great men
4 nothing is imunne to corruption.

2018-10-18 11:26:10 UTC

OK I have to go to my shop and open up I'll be back on at 9h

2018-10-18 11:31:08 UTC

@WizardLizardInABlizzard 1. The goal and point would be that their labour being more productive and efficient. Why would anyone want to tire and assemble iPhones a day when we have automated robots to do it? They benefit from doing less labour, as I mentioned the whole point of socialism is to achieve post scarcity.

2. In this case, everyone in the collective decides, so no classes are formed. The only class is the working class or the proletariat.

3. Really? Remind me how many physicists and mathematicians and scientists the Soviet Union produced, some of which were Nobel prize winners. The state would provide you with resources to pursue your innovation all the same, and would support you in case of failure. Nobody supports your ideas if you fail due to other reasons, and you end up with a load of debt. They have better incentives to innovate under socialism. More resources and capital to innovate as such.

4. why did you ask me that question then? corruption can never be fully curbed, I'm saying a hypothetical way to alleviate corruption and to make it harder to end up in it.

1 that is a whole lot of faith in people owning up to do their part bc it's "more efficient than it was" look at >welfare state
2 that's a stagnant view
3 forced to stay
4 to see your solution
Sorry for quick answers I'm walking out the door

2018-10-18 11:35:22 UTC

@WizardLizardInABlizzard
1. The community as a whole benefits from innovation, why would they not want to innovate?
2. uhh okay but that's the truth
3. some were, but most weren't

2018-10-18 11:35:38 UTC

4. okay
