If they really wanted to celebrate achievements and movements forward with science why wouldn't they give people every detail, if you made a suit that could somehow survive extreme temperatures, pressure, and genuinely help a human being survive in a climate that would be sure death then you would preach about it, you'd mention every single tiny little detail of how you managed to create such a thing.
