Raising a child isn't about profession, it is about having a loving family for companionship and support, along with building trust.
Sounds too Dystopian to me for society to conclude that general people are too dumb so professionals must have the power over these matters. There are all kinds of fictional stories about societies where there is tight control and basically no emotions all so war and conflict never exist.

People should take IQ boosting supplements and start wearing those square glasses I bet they help
