If you really understood the Dhamma you would understand why it's better to reach nibbana wouldn't you
Isn't becoming a bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism only really motivated by compassion
sure but I don't like it there
๐
That's not what a Bodhisattva should say
i think you have a bodhisattva complex my friend
Why are you not over there right now ?
Specifically sounds like heresy tbh
because i don't understand the dhamma
and i'm not a bodhisattva
Thanks for your opinion
np
if you ever need another just hmu
Just pointing out that not accomplishing Nirvana because you "don't want to" is different than "I want to sacrifice and help others"
Just pointing out that you are misquoting twice
@Akail Good champion, not balanced tho
i don't think bodhisattva has convinced anyone he is a bodhisattva
so it's pointless to argue over
Oh sorry, "it's too boring over there" is worse you're right
Well, I'm not into that Eastern religious stuff anyways, so convincing me would be futile, but sounds interesting I guess
Christian
non-denom?
And that means?
Are you non-denominational
Oh
No
It would probably be easier to ask what denomination
Yeah, lol
Also what denomination?
Lutheran church
It has been fun guy's I think I'm popping back over to nirvana for some peace and quite
Nice! I used to go out with a Scandinavian girl who was Lutheran
peace out!
lmao ttyl
Sure mate ๐
My ancestry extends back to around that location, Norway mostly
Ah, she was from Sweden but lived in ร land
How does "popping back over to Nirvana" work? What does that mean?
I think he's just pretending enlightenment, Nirvana is technically supposed to be a mental state, and in the actual teachings of Buddha is more a philosophical thing than a religious thing
So in a physical sense, they are meditating?
