I can't understand the hype about bethesda games...

I mean, skyrim isn't a bad game, but the story telling level is poor for a 2010+ game

Fallout 4 was overhyped garbage

especially for an RPG

yeah, skyrim was the same imho

Skyrim was way better

I got so many hours out of it

I still prefered morrowind and oblivion

Oblivion had more quest variety

they were cool for their times

now skyrim... hmm not really

gamers expectations changed

it's not a huge world anymore, the story is sub par for it's time

the gameplay is correct but nothing game changing from the previous iterations

I would restart a playthrough of witcher 3 anyday... skyrim, not so much

mods helps a bit

I stoped playing the Special Edition after 1h because you couldn't install SkyUI... that's just the menu

the vanilla UI is clunky, not really practical, require tons of checking to do simple stuff, etc

Witcher 3's combat stopped me from playing it

I find it a lot better than skyrim though

well, if you say so, I find it lacking in dodges areas, blocking is cool, parrying and counter attacking is better

you can change that with mods in skyrim, add new skill trees etc

but that's game breaking because the AI isn't suited to those

but overall, the story, the lore, the depth of the characters, the choices you makes, etc make it a better game imho than skyrim
