Scandinavians were only catholic for like 100 years so the concepts of Prots took root a lot better there than in other countries
@Kombat-Unit muh russians wont accept I exist
Joke's on them their country stopped existing.
I'm third gen as well Bowlsta
Grandmother's maiden name is Johansen
She married a fuckin mick >_>
My surname is still incredibly scandinavian
Norwegian specifically
I think there is some truth in it , it is also a huge part of American education to mock divine rule
As if it was some crazy guy who said i speak for God now bahahaha
The same way they speak of abstract concepts of the righteousness of democracy
Yeah divine right isn't some crazy guy saying god speaks to him
Founding a country on enlightement values and masonism not even once.
It's more of a pointing out that metaphysical inequalities exist thing
Elaborate on that more
Metaphysical inequalities exist
And every ruler pre democracy was a " Tryant " lol
Not everyone is equal in the spiritual realm or on earth essentially.
Some people have more spiritual clarity than others as an example
And to clarify, I don't assume divine right is some crazy guy saying he's God.
The king is the king because all material comes from and is a mirror of the metaphysical and since he is better than you in the physical one can say he is better than you in the metaphysical
It's more nuanced and communally organized
Essentially
you can replace king with dictator or emperor or whatever you want
muh jesus being a carpenter

Lol
I never understood the point of using hinduism to explain EH like I understand it works but European native religions also can foot the bill and I've even seen some EH use germanic paganism for a fill in
Because European blood-faiths are dead.
Ok that answer actually satisfies me
The thing that bothers me about neopaganism is that some of the reconstructed faiths are actually just recolored christianity pretty much, "inversion" of it, like satanism in a sense. Like you know how Frisian and some Latvian neopagans worship pretty much trinity with new names. That's not actual blood-faith. That's just basically christianity without christ.
Like there isn't any actual proof slavs worshiped chernobog and belabog either.
It's likely a later christian dualist invention.
I believe in the ideas and philosophies of EH but I consider myself odalist. I have to be careful even myself of accepting christian idealism
Not mocking you or Bowlsta when i say this most neopagans i have met dont have an authentic alternative belief system they just reject Christ from my expireience.
Besides, Savitri Devi makes a wonderful case for the aryan spiritual importance of racial separatism with the caste system and quoting the scriptures.
And form something reactionary too it.
You're right, some of the neopagans just use stuff that is completely made up, not even reconstruction, like Book of Veles.
I didn't have a reactionary acceptance of norse paganism because by the time I came to accept my pagan ideology I had already been an atheist for many years.
It's not revival of the old faith, it's a new faith with a mixture of christianity pretending to be the old original faith.
