I just got waterdeep dragon heist supplument. For those interested I am gonna read it over and say if it is a good supplument or not
Alright
So I have looked over Waterdeep Dragon Heist rather well, and it is a very well made moduel. It is a throwback to one of the forgotten realms' older cities; Waterdeep. Old fans of D&D will instantly notice this place and know of it's lore while the questline is new and varies depending on the season. This moduel is also friendly to those of evil alignment and archetype; those who want to be greedy, kill those in their way, and make jt about themselves, while other moduels tend to make players lean good because the main villian is that much of a dick. The moduel seems more or less like fan service in a way. It has infamous people and places; like Xanathar, Volo, and The Yawning Portal. The quest line is lowest level cap in the series; spanning from 1st to 5th and focused on a finding a large vault full of treasure that is lost to time and now rumored of. The rumor also states the whole prize worth about 500,000 Gold Pieces. The quest plays out rather well and broken down into 5 chapter, first 4 are set in stone while the 5th is season dependant. The whole storyline is good and sets up for the book coming out in November that explores a large dungeon, and the guilds in the city offer a nice bonus on top of the game, but the downside is the party really only works if everyone thinks the same and share at least one part of a general alignment ie; evil, lawful, good, or chaotic. The campaign is rather simple to run as well; and is rather friendly to beginning Dungeon Masters. Overall, a 4/5. Can't wait for next part
