The emanation of the Word which alights the tongues of Saints and gives them wisdom from God
Who wrote the Sophia?
?
you said the sophia
In the Bible the term Sophia is equated with "Wisdom" in a certain sense
I can get the quotes
I know
but you said "the"
which seems to imply a text
The first bible was in Greek
they use the term Sophia interchangabley with the Holy Spirit
Original Word Word Origin
sofia from (4680)
Transliterated Word TDNT Entry
Sophia 7:465,1056
Phonetic Spelling Parts of Speech
sof-ee'-ah Noun Feminine

call it the holy spirit call it whatever lol
she's my main meditation deity
here's how we depict her
I see it like the Word is masculine
The Word exists in and of itself
When the Word reaches out and wants to use its energy to set the tongue of a saint alight ... that is the Sophia
the energy of the Truth
this is not true unless you consider the Septuagint to be a Bible
whatever the main bible used sophia interchangabley in the sense that i'm using it
To my mind there was no "Bible" until the Council of Nicaea
>the main Bible
why do you think the main church in constantinople was called the Hagia Sophia
this guy
hwut
it means "holy wisdom"
hold on I'm still reading everything you wrote
alright
The Bible source text is written in a combination of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Koiné Greek.
Believe me, I could do a whole spiel just on Bible semantics as regards misinterpretations due to translation.
The Bible officially came into existence as a canon after the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325
I am aware what sophia means in Greek, but unless the instances you're referring to are from Greek source text and not translated from Hebrew or Aramaic, this means little.
i'm not sure what your point is
I was just clearing up a few things since you seem to have some misconceptions.
Not really
You do, though.
But I don't really have a point, I'm mostly here to hear what you have to say.
what time is it where you at will you be up a little while
