most of the knowledge i have is from OSINT or physical books
i don't have a survivor library or something that i need to access in a remote place
i got a shitload of computer pdfs too
yeah but even all of the legally dubious ones are common sense for anyone with the trade experience to do them
just get certs
i mean like machining
pirate CCNA books
oh machining?
i got tons o books on that too
but yea hands on is the way to go there
CCNA shit was so annoying
yeah fuck the CCNA
i took cisco sponsored IT networking classes in high school
through a college
god it was fucking annoying
im doin community college and i got CCNA along w tha networking and cybsec courses
@brotha is that 10GB limit for Windscribe referring to actual downloads or just browser data?
both
i got half my A+ because getting a 16 year old to learn how to, by hand, how to subnet using a fucking pie chart, was pretty taxing
ah
pen and pencil binary and subnetting was the worst part of it all
plus the whole thing was shilling cisco shit when juniper network equipment is a fifth the cost
and has a fucking GUI
at least i learned how to crimp cable
my teacher taught me a method to subnet at the beginning of the quarter and ive already forgot how
my first quarter*
when i got into real college i was gonna do digital forensics but i fucking hate cities
then i thought history, but then i remembered teaching sucks out your soul
so now i'm archaeology :^)
im going through a shitload of comptia certs plus associates degree and moving onto a cybersecurity program upstate here
you're WA right?
hoping to get my pentest+ cert
yea
pentesting - while you're at it learn how to lockpick and some simple deception stuff
@brotha pros/cons of Tails OS?
writing out the thing for the sticky
that will take you far
yea, ive already picked some of the dorm locks here lole
i got into physical security as a hobby and i start analyzing every public building i go into
thanks a lot DEFCON
@itstooslim uh, slow as shit, but it's secure
